Selection Procedure: Two stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test has been introduced at selection centres. Selection

Candidates are required to choose one of these cities as Test Centre and no change under any circumstances will be allowed subsequently. Training

Candidates selected as Management Trainee (Technical) will be taken in two batches and placed on training for one year. Selected candidates will be offered a basic pay of Rs. 20600/-

Educational Qualification & General Conditions:
1. For the Posts of Management Trainee (Finance):- Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

A pass in Oriya Language Test equivalent to M.E. standard is essential. Alternatively, the candidate has to pass the requisite language test in Oriya within one year of appointment.

Age Limit : Not more than 32 years as on 01.04.2010. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of SEBC candidates.

Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be called for written test. Only those candidates who qualify in the Written Test will be called for personal interview at Bhubaneswar. The date and venue of Written Test will be intimated in due course.

Pay Scale :
The duration of the training shall be for a period of one year. During the training period, the Management Trainee will be paid monthly consolidated stipend of Rs 12,000/- only.
On successful completion of the training, the candidates will be appointed as Assistant Manager (E-3 Grade) on probation for one year in the scale of pay of Rs.9,300 - 34,800/- plus Grade Pay Rs 4,600/- with usual D.A. and other benefits as per Rules of the Corporation.

Candidate who is educationally eligible for more than one Branch/Cadre has to apply only one application and mention his priority at para 14 of Application Format. Appearing candidates are not eligible Physical Standard

The candidates should not be colour/night blind & must be physically fit according to following physical standards:- (a) Height and Weight. Minimum height-157cms with correlated weight. (b) Eye Sight. 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glassesTraining

The training is scheduled to commence in Jul 2010 at Naval Academy Ezhimala. Candidates finally selected for Tech (GS) Branch & Naval Architecture Cadre will be inducted as officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant and undergo 20 weeks Naval Orientation Course at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala, followed by professional training in Naval Ships and Training Establishments. Full pay & allowances are admissible to officers whilst under training. They will be on probation for a period of two years, during which they are liable to be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory.

Candidates finally selected for Submarine Cadre, will be inducted as officers in the rank of Sub Lieutenant and undergo Naval Orientation Course at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala followed by professional training in other Naval Training Establishments/Ships. On completion of the training the candidates will have to pass Submarine Qualifying Board. The candidate who fail to qualify in the Submarine Qualifying Board will not be retained in service. Full pay and allowances are admissible to officers, whilst under training. They will be on probation for a period of two years, during which they are liable to be discharged, if their performance is unsatisfactory. In addition, the candidates will be entitled for Submarine Pay and allowances upto Rs.14,000/- per month, only after qualifying the the qualifying the submarine qualifying Board

Selection Procedure The candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews at Bangalore/ Bhopal/Coimbatore between Feb 10 to May 10 according to their choice of cadre and their performance in BE/B Tech. Degree. Short-listing of candidates will be done on the basis of the cut off percentage decided by IHQ-MoD (Navy) for each cadre. No communication will be entertained on this account. A candidate not making to the cut-off %age of his 1st choice will be considered for his 2nd or 3rd choice, provided the candidates meets the cutoff for that particular cadre.
